thanks for stopping by! i’m stefanie and i’m lucky enough to be living in a mountain valley here in austria. when i’m not cooking, then i’m out and about in the mountains and when i’m not in the mountains, then i’m taking pictures of my homemade meals and upload them to this blog for two simple reasons – to inspire others to cook more often and to make veganism easier and more accessible.
eatwholegreens is created out of love and the desire to rediscover the joy of preparing and eating food while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. it’s about time to brush away all of the harsh diets, calorie counting and feelings of starvation, guilt and negative emotions. with this blog i’m trying to get everybody fall back in love with food again!
rather than following a standard american, or western diet, or removing certain foods from my daily meals, i am convinced that it’s best to focus on whole and plant based foods. although i still eat a variety of foods, i do believe a vegan diet is currently best for my body, mind & soul – meaning that all my meals i post are 100% cruelty free and directly from our mother earth.
due to my autoimmune disease hashimoto i decided to quit gluten out of my diet and i’m experiencing major health benefits which i’m beyond excited to share with you along my journey, OUR journey. i will be trying to talk about my healing process and my thyroid story a bit as well but in the mean time – let’s bring delicious, savory, sweet and extraordinary flavor back to our food and life!
