feeling a little tired during the dark winter months? needing a little tropical uplift delivered right into your kitchen? try your luck with this tropical smoothie, featuring only the most exotic foods out there. it will definitely leave you with enough energy, sunshine and island vibes to get you through a couple more days filled with snow, rain or storms of all sorts.
in your blender you simply add –
- 1/2 papaya (remove seeds first)
- 1 mango
- 1 banana
- 1/2 can coconut milk
- a splash of water (or as much as you need)
if you don’t like the coconut taste, add plant based yoghurt instead. you can use soy- or almond yoghurt for instance. all you really have to do is to throw all fruits into your blender, add water and coconut milk and blend until smooth. you should get a pretty decent amount of the most tropical smoothie ever, probably around 500-800ml. if you only crave a glass or two you could simply break down the ingredients or you freeze the rest to enjoy later! happy blending!
